MOOZAK MULTICHANNEL #01

no enterramos muertos, sembramos semillas… is an electroacoustic work dedicated to the revolutionary poet Ernesto Cardenal, who died in March 2020. His life, spiritual vision, and political resistance against injustice resonate throughout the piece, which takes its title from the epitaph of Adolfo Báez Bone.

The work unfolds as a dialogue between spectral transformations of Cardenal’s own voice, reading his poetry, and sounds generated by DIY analog mini-synthesizers. His words form the structural backbone of the composition, shaping an immersive sonic environment that surrounds the listener with shifting layers of density, intimacy, and tension.

Through spatial motion and timbral contrast, the piece traces states of grief, persistence, and quiet resilience. It stands as a tribute to Cardenal’s legacy, reminding us that acts of violence may silence bodies, but ideas, like seeds, continue to grow.
