Amok is a live multichannel performance driven by overload, rupture, and instability. Using two semi-modular synthesisers, spectral processing, and real-time diffusion, the work unleashes dense, abrasive sound masses that resist coherence. A volatile background layer acts as an unstable core, while improvisation pushes the material toward collapse. Loud, distorted, and unpredictably rhythmic gestures erupt without warning, breaking any sense of pulse or orientation. Sound expands violently through the multichannel system, transforming space into a hostile sonic field where form disintegrates and control remains constantly at risk.

ZVO.ČI.TI Acousmonium is Slovenia’s leading ongoing platform for the development and presentation of spatial sound art. It combines octophonic and acousmatic concerts, commissioned original compositions, workshops, artist residencies, and networking. The curatorial selection includes both pioneers of acousmatic music and contemporary creators, who explore sound using traditional tools as well as the latest methods, technologies, and production processes.
Together with the invited sound artists, curators Brane Zorman and Patrick K.-H will present a selection of referential original electroacoustic compositions, several of which will be performed publicly for the first time.
